Hello, I'm Kirsten.

I grew up at the intersection of two very different cultures, living in each country at various, significant stages in life while travelling back and forth: Austria and Hungary. Growing up amidst such cultural differences ignited my curiosity to learn and explore cultures, music, fashion and Art.

In my late teens, I discovered my love for photography. I found inspiration in the visual world by surrounding myself with different cultures, travelling to other countries, and taking in the beauty of our world. I fell in love with the oceans, surf culture, and rock' n' roll. To me, this was life itself, the freedom of the soul, and I not only wanted to be part of it but share it in the only way I knew how: through the lens of my camera. 

In 2013, in my native Austria I worked for a recording studio where I used my talents to create and capture visual content of the sonic atmosphere. Being around the magical creative energy of artists and musicians led me to Toronto, where I expanded my passions to pursue a career in live entertainment production. Since then, I've promised myself to stay true to the aspirations of that teenager in me and not get stuck in the undertow of city life, but instead, ride the wave, go with the flow and capture the stories of life with the instrument of my eye. 

This narrative inspires me to articulate life, art and people with a distinct, authentic charm.
